Seeing Cathy leave her seat, Randy's heart skipped a beat. Suddenly, he had a strong urge to pull her back, but in the end, he didn't move at all.
She'd hate him even more if he did.
He moved his fingers and finally picked up the cup in front of him and drank a mouthful of water, hiding all the emotions in his eyes.
A vicious smile flashed across Sophia's eyes, but she quickly concealed it. She smiled and poured tea for Randy, saying, "How is Brother Randy? I miss you very much."
Randy frowned slightly, his expression unhappy. He put down the blanket and actually wanted to seriously talk to the person in front of him
"Sophia, you're already so old. It's time to find someone to take care of you for the rest of your life. I know what you think of me, but I'm sorry, I already have a lover."
Sophia's smile froze at the corner of her lips, "Brother Randy, are you joking?"
Randy shook his head with a hint of guilt, "I was also very surprised. I didn't expect to fall in love with Cathy in the end. I believe what happened back then was an accident. I'm really sorry."
"Randy, why are you apologizing to me? It's not you who caused me to lose my legs!" Sophia said as soon as she dropped a cup in her hand. The sound of shattering exploded in the private room. "What do you need the police to do with an apology?" Sophia pointed at his nose and said, "Randy, why are you apologizing to me? It's not you who caused me to lose my legs!"
Randy wiped off the splashed water from his face and didn't even move his eyebrows. "You're right. Arson, attempted murder. If an apology is useful, what would the police do?"
Just as Sophia was crying, she suddenly raised her head and stared at Randy with tearful eyes.
"You know?"
Randy sighed silently, "Actually, it's not hard to guess. It's only because I've been confused these past few years that I actually trusted such a hard-hearted person like you."
Sophia suddenly burst into laughter. She let go of the corner of Randy's clothes and leaned on the table to laugh until she couldn't breathe, as if she was finally crazy.
"So what if you know? Randy, your Cathy will never come back. Hah ..."
