lan looked around, grabbed a disposable paper cup prepared on the side, and poured himself a cup of water. Nathan watched this man. He felt that the man and this cheap paper cup seemed quite mismatched. 

His hand seemed more suitable for holding a wine glass. 

The room seemed to automatically divide into two zones. 

Everyone and everything else had been ignored since he walked in. 

The two people standing in the comer felt the same. They felt a bit awkward.

Nathan chuckled, “Even the CEO has to bow to him. I don’t know who he is, you should check the financial papers.” 

The two made some comments about their team lead before returning to their desks 

When lan returned to his seat with the paper cup, the other people in the scene quieted down.. 

The president of Silverstone Enterprises even stood up immediately, his face a bit fearful. 

“Mr. Raymond, I’m sorry, we didn’t prepare well.” 

He signaled to his assistant. The assistant immediately took a specially disinfected glass cup and poured water for lan. 

But lan didn’t drink at all, just listened to them continue discussing the project. 

After the meeting, everyone shook hands. 

lan walked in front, followed by Jeff. A group of people left the building accompanied by the senior management of Silverstone Enterprises. After getting in the car, lan didn’t say anything. 

Jeff was driving. Through the rear–view mirror, he sneaked a glance at lan. He felt that lan was a bit off today.
