Maja stared at her sharply. 

“I’ve been cutting you slack because you used to bring me medicine.” 

Rita’s face grew ugly and she smirked coldly. 

“Why don’t you say that to Leah? You seduced her husband, so don’t blame her for giving you trouble. You should listen to what the neighbors are saying about you.” 

The whole building knew about Leah’s daily tantrums 

Society was always harsh on women, and no one wanted to hear her side of the story; they just wanted to see the drama. 

If one person called her a loose woman, people might not believe it. 

But if two or three people said the same, theh everyone would believe it. 

These neighbors might cause her trouble in the future. 

After all, the status of this community was not low. Having a woman with a bad reputation living here would only lower everyone’s social status. 

What Maja had to face was not just Leah but the entire building’s residents. 

Clearly, she couldn’t stay in this house anymore. 

She had prepared to sell it online, but no one had inquired about it yet.

Rita thought she was frightened by her words when she saw Maja lost in thought.

Rita’s face changed, and she trembled with anger. 

“How dare you!” 

Maja looked at her. 

“Why wouldn’t I?” 

Rita’s morale instantly dropped. 

To be honest, Maja was very pretty, and even Mr. Raymond liked her, which showed how attractive she was. 

If she really went after Ryan Elston, what chance would Rita have?

Maja put her phone back with a calm expression.

Her only hope was Ryan, but Maja still had some connection with Mr. Raymond.

She had to wait until Maja upset Carlene and Mr. Raymond, then she could use Ryan’s power to make Maja fail completely.

Maja stared into her eyes, “I’ve given you a choice. If you still want to play smart, don’t blame me for fighting back.” 

She walked into the elevator and didn’t wait for Rita to get in before pressing the close door button. 

Rita was shaking with rage and her teeth clenched tightly. 

“She’s too much! Just too much!” 

She kicked the wall hard, which only resulted in her own leg hurting. 

When she went to work at the Raymond Corporation, her face looked terrible. 

When she saw lan pass by, Rita swiftly shot him a glance and then promptly called him. 

“Mr. Raymond.” 

She quickly made her way in front of him, standing there respectfully. 

Behind lan, Jeff was present too, about to start a meeting. 

“Mr. Raymond, there’s this woman who’s been harassing Penny at RosenGarden by claiming Penny stole her husband. She made a ruckus all last night, which disturbed the entire building. I saw dark circles under Penny’s eyes; she doesn’t seem well. I was wondering if you could!” 

She meant, could he help Penny solve this problem?
