Chapter 41
Thinking about this, Kurt’s mood got even better, and he raised his hand to pinch Tricia’s chin.
Tricia felt terrified, she closed her eyes, and her eyelashes began to tremble
“Take this pretty lady away As for you, come upstairs with me, I’ll show you some excitement”
Maja figured Kurt wouldn’t really lay a hand on her. In the BlueSky Bar, as long as she screamed for help, professional bodyguards would rush over instantly.
But after all, this place was a favorite hangout for rich kids. If she caused a scene, she’d be the one to lose face
She still had a business to run If she got blacklisted, she’d probably be dead in the water in this circle.
“You mean the casino upstairs when you’re talking about excitement?” she asked.
Kurt raised as eyebrow and then headed upstairs, “Yes, seems like you’ve got some experience”
Maja didn’t respond. She saw that Tricia was on the verge of tears, “Let her go first, I’ll go with you”
Kurt was more interested in Maja than Tricia, so he didn’t hesitate, “I’ll take your advice, but you must keep me entertained tonight.”
Maja looked at Tricia, still not understanding why she was at the bar.
“Tricia, you go home first”
Tricia was released by the bodyguard, and her face grew paler, “But you…”
“Til be fine”
Mara’s tone was casual, “At some point, you need to explain why you would come to a place like this alone.”
Tricia lowered her head, her lips tightly closed. She came here because he was here tonight; she just wanted to see him up close, so she couldn’t resist.
She didn’t expect to run into Maja. Maja was usually frugal; how could she afford a two–million–dollar membership card?,
Tm sorry, sis, I know I messed up. I’ll leave right away.”
She took a longing look upstairs, then left in disappointment.
Following Kurt, Maja saw him try to put his arm around her waist, but she said, “Mr. Raymond is a very territorial man; he doesn’t like others touching what he’s Interested in.”
Kurt’s face fell, realizing she had seen through his intentions.
He felt humiliated, “You knew lan was here; have you been playing me?”
“I just wanted to give you a friendly heads up.”
Maja’s smile seemed innocent, but in Kurt’s eyes, it looked like a provocation.
“Do you really think having a past with lan means he’ll care about you? Let’s wait and see
They had reached the third floor.
The waiters and waitresses in black and white uniforms were bustling about, and each luxurious table was surrounded by gamblers.
Maja spotted lan sitting in the middle. He seemed uninterested in gambling and was just casually playing.
Tyler Bennitt sat next to him, noting his distracted demeanor, and laughed, ‘You’re a real sucker.!
Half of lan’s chips were gone, and the other gamblers were raking in the profits. They saw him as a cash cow.
He simply sat there, his eyes distant even when he looked at his cards. His Indifferent demeanor showed he didn’t care about the money.
Maja didn’t linger on him but noticed that Kurt had already walked over.
