The room felt silent for a few seconds before lan broke the silence. 

“What do you want to make you happy?” 

His handsome, indifferent brows flickered with a cold aura, his features as sharp as frost. This time, he didn’t forcefully pull her towards him. Instead, he genuinely engaged her in conversation. 

She handed him a glass of water, her demeanour sincere, 

“Mr. Raymond, you can propose other conditions.” 

“Become my assistant. The Raymond Corporation is expanding into the film industry, and I heard you have some experience in that area?” 

Maja didn’t answer. She had previously invested in Tyler’s film, and that wasn’t exactly a secret. 

lan accepted the water from her, twirling the glass in his hands. His agarwood bracelet was particularly eye–catching. 

“You don’t need to submit any documents for this job. Starting from now, corne with me to the Raymond Corporation. I will personally pay your salary. Leveraging the Raymond Corporation to enter more film circles will benefit you.” 

His voice was indifferent, and suddenly, he put down the glass and leaned in close to her ear, “It’s okay if you don’t want to. But at least kiss me.”
