After hanging up the phone, Alma issued instructions to her team. 

‘Keep hiring some online trolls; have them trash Wilma’s reputation ASAP 

“Ms. Alma, we’re already on it. The internet is flooded with negative comments about Wilma, and everyone’s calling her a lowlife.” 

A smirk appeared on Alma’s face. Backed by the powerful Casson family, dealing with a woman who entirely relied on men was a piece of cake. 

She was confident that Maja, the woman so dependent on men, would come begging for mercy within two months. 

Alma was full of confidence about this. 

On the other hand, Maja was still in the dark about the fact that the woman Wilma slapped was from the Casson family. She tried to call Wilma, but Wilma didn’t pick up. Clearly, she was pissed. So, she called Wilma’s agent next. 

The agent was a young woman who sounded a bit shaky, understandably, since Maja was her boss.

“What’s she up to now? How’s she doing?” 

“Wilma’s sleeping. She doesn’t answer when I knock on the door.” 

“As her agent, you must know why she slapped that woman, right?” 

“Yes, I do. The director suddenly added a female supporting role to the crew, having Wilma and the supporting actress reshoot previous scenes. Normally, they’d have to discuss this with us first, but we were kept in the dark the whole time. In one of the scenes with the supporting actress, she was supposed to slap Wilma. They reshot that scene eighteen times, with Wilma getting slapped until her face was swollen. Everyone could tell the supporting actress was doing it intentionally, but no one stood up for Wilma. The last time the supporting actress deliberately slapped Wilma hard, she said something to Wilma, and that’s when Wilma fought back.” 

In showbiz, those without a powerful backing were often bullied but Maja would never allow her artists to be bullied. 

If Wilma had a bad temper, she would have fought back after a few slaps. But she endured eighteen slaps, and it must have been something the supporting actress said that crossed a line and made her fight back.
