Summary of Chapter 1004 from Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja)

Chapter 1004 marks a crucial moment in Beverly Quinn’s Romance novel, Dear Ex-wife Marry Me novel (Maja). This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.

As Funfly left Judith's place, she climbed into her own car.

She knew she had to cause some serious trouble for Maja to get Judith off her back. If she didn't, Judith's vengeance would undoubtedly be worse than being thrown in jail.

Then she thought of Alma.

With Omar in the hospital, the guards at Alma's place would definitely be less vigilant. She had to get Alma out. Alma had been disfigured and imprisoned for a long time, her resentment was imaginable.

Funfly quickly headed to the Casson family's place.

Her excuse to the guards at the door was simple.

“I've told Mr. Casson beforehand. I'm here to visit Ms. Alma, and I've brought her a gift that Mr. Casson personally selected.”

Ever since Alma had been locked up, Omar had not sent her any gifts.

The guard recognized Funfly, and he had seen her looking for Omar by the river. He let her in without suspicion.

Alma was going mad in her room. She initially comforted herself during the first few days, but her mental state quickly deteriorated when she heard that Omar was still searching for a body in the river.

She banged on the door, even threatening to starve herself, but no one paid her any mind.

Alma spent all her time in her room, her voice hoarse from constantly yelling. Her window had been sealed shut, and Omar was worried she might try to jump out.

When Alma heard Funfly’s voice outside, she thought she was hallucinating.

“Ms. Alma, are you okay?”

Alma recognized Funfly, but they were not close. Why would Funfly come at this time?

As the door opened, Funfly appeared, smiling at Alma.

“I heard that Omar might not wake up for two months.”

Alma had not heard of this, but she had a hunch that something had happened to Omar.

“I don't understand why you're here, Funfly. We're not particularly close, are we?”

“Do you want to get out? The whole Cornelia incident was orchestrated by Maja to create a divide between you and your brother, and it worked. Omar loves you so much, but he locked you up because of Cornelia. Actually, Cornelia is not dead, she’s just been hidden by Maja.”

“That bitch!”

Alma quickly stood up, her face full of hatred.

“I want that bitch dead!”

“But you can't get out now, so there's no point in saying this.”

Funfly's words brought Alma back to reality.

“So what should I do?”

“Ms. Alma, listen to me. That was the only way to seek revenge against Maja.”

Alma took a deep breath and nodded.

Funfly’s plan to get Alma out was simple. She claimed Omar had agreed to send Alma to a mental hospital for treatment.

Ryan sat Maja next to him and dialed Ian’s number on his phone in front of her.

He signaled his friends, “Carry on, make some noise.”

As Ian picked up the call, he could hear the noise and knew Ryan was out drinking again.

“Cousin, are you coming out to join us?”

“Ryan, I've told you to come work at the Raymond Corporation.”

“Ah, work is not as fun as drinking with friends. Are you coming out tonight?”

“No.”

“Alright then. Maja, will you drink this? It's a mix of three different types of alcohol, they say it packs quite a punch.”

Hearing that, Ian paused, “Maja is there?”

“Ah, yes, but you probably don't want to meet my friends. They're having a great time. Maja has been working hard lately, I brought her out to relax.”

After speaking, he asked Maja, “How is it? Pretty strong, right?”

Maja replied honestly, “It is fine.”

Ian couldn't sit still, “Give me the address.”

Ryan deliberately ended the call without giving him the address.
