Maja didn't respond to him, choosing instead to lie back. Every day after training, she felt exhausted.

"Rest up," he said. "If you need anything, just ask Agent 002."

"Who's 002?"

With a pat on her shoulder, K left the room. As soon as he was gone, Maja heard 002 speak up.

"The leader of the BK won't be a blind woman. That's what we all believe. Mr. K's decision is too hasty, or maybe you've bewitched him somehow."

Maja knew K's standing within the BK was high; anyone who wanted to lead had to have his blessing.

It was clear 002 didn't just want to lead; she also harbored a deep admiration for K, which fueled her animosity toward Maja.

002 stood up, her face cold but smiling with triumph.
