Ian stepped closer, only to notice a red light blinking on the anklet strapped to Cynthia's leg.

He tugged at the device, and a man's voice emerged from within.

"Cynthia, you trying to make a run for it again?"

"Why the urge to flee, why so disobedient?"

"Do you really want me to break your legs?"

The man's voice, despite its softness, sent chills down Ian's spine.

Cynthia, now deaf to the world, seemed to sense the anklet's alarm.

She desperately tried to rip the device off her ankle to no avail.

"Fuck off!"

Her fingernails dug into her flesh, but the anklet wouldn't budge, the man's voice still echoing from it.

"Gone blind, gone deaf, do I need to render you mute too?"

"Get any closer to that door, and you'll get zapped again. Just stay put, stop struggling."

That's when Ian realized this basement was no ordinary place.

Whenever Cynthia got too close to the exit, it would shock her.

The two goons who had been guarding Cynthia had been hit by this very current.

Maja felt a wrenching pain inside, "Save her, you have to get her out."

Ian didn't make any promises.

Time was running out. Chaos had taken over Forbidden Island, and there were only two hours left until his rendezvous with Dylan and Abner. He had to get Maja off the island quickly.

If any more disasters struck, no one would make it out.

But leaving meant abandoning Cynthia.
