And just like that, he hung up. 

Carl never saw that coming, lan’s response took him by surprise.

When Maja stepped out of the hotel, she still felt weak, She hailed a cab and under the influence of the drugs, she was ready to doze off as soon as she got in. 

But when the car started to bump, she realized she hadn’t told the driver where to go.
