lan was fuming, his eyes flaming like a mad beast. “Didn’t you want me to come?” 

Maja sat silently on the bed. 

The police broke the silence. “You can leave now with Mr. Raymond.” 

It was as if Maja hadn’t heard, she even closed her eyes. 

lan felt wronged. Out of concern that other members of the Raymond family might cause trouble for Maja, he had without hesitation given up ten percent of his shares. But she didn’t seem to care. 

“Do you want Beck to come to your rescue?” 

At the mention of that name, Maja’s eyes twitched slightly. 

So the person she hoped for was indeed Beck. 

lan was boiling with anger, and he grabbed Maja. 

“I’m sorry to disappoint you Beck is busy socializing every day; how could he remember you?” 

Maja remained silent. This made lan even angrier. 

His eyes were filled with anger and a cold glare.

lan stood by the door, took a few looks at her, and then said after a few minutes, “If you don’t come out, you’ll regret it.” 

Maja curled up even smaller, not making a sound. 

lan closed the door and took off his suit to block the little window that could see the prisoner. 

Then he calmly rolled up his sleeves. The movement was elegant, but his eyes were heavy and cold. 

Maja thought he had left. As she was turning around, she was grabbed by the neck by his strong hand.

“lan, what are you trying to do?” 

She started to feel scared, not knowing what he would do next because he was choking her. 

But soon, she heard the sound of his belt being undone and began to struggle. 

This was police station! How dare lan be so brazen? He didn’t even give her a chance to refuse. He’s always such a bully! 

He hadn’t had sex for a while, so he found it a bit difficult. 

Maja’s body shook with pain, but he didn’t care. He paused slightly, then continued to “explore” Maja’s body.

Maja was wrapped in lan’s suit, sleeping soundly in his arms. Her cheeks flushed, not knowing what she was dreaming about, and her eyebrows furrowed. 

lan found a position to sign, pushed the paper aside, held her tighter, and walked out 

Back at Greenfield Gardens, he personally filled the bathtub with water, cleaned her up, and put her in. 

The moment she sat in the tub, Maja woke up and saw his serious face. She was so angry that she slapped him. 

She slapped him with all her strength, even making lan’s head tilt a bit. 

He didn’t get angry; instead, he took her hand and checked it as if to see if she was hurt.
