My fiance tossed me into the river for his first love.

“If it weren’t for you, Yvonne wouldn’t have died! You deserve to die! You gotta pay the price!” he roared at me angrily.

But the truth was, Yvonne Burch fell off a cliff on a trip; I had nothing to do with it.

“Antonio, I’m pregnant with your baby. It’s three months old already…” I struggled with all my might.

“Who knows if I’m the father or not?” he said, the disdain in his eyes palpable.

Antonio Kaufman watched as I drowned.

If I had another chance, I swore I wouldn’t be so foolish again.

“Grace, what are you doing here? Piss off. You’re embarrassing me.” Antonio’s impatient voice rang out.

I was shocked.

I had gone back in time; it was now three hours before the flood.

Antonio and Yvonne were going on a trip to Usnain, but his hometown, Stone Town, was facing a massive flood.

So, I rushed to the airport to stop him from leaving; he should go back there to save people.

I was at the airport now with Antonio’s boarding pass in my hand.

“Are you deaf, Grace? Give me my boarding pass back.

“It’s been three years since I last saw Yvonne. So what if I’m going on a trip with her? Stop being so unreasonable.”

Noticing my long–time silence, Antonio urged me coldly and even kicked me in the shin.

I looked up at him with terror and anger.

Taking a deep breath, I finally managed to control myself.

Tossing him back the boarding pass, I said flatly, “I don’t give a damn about what you’re about to do.

“I’m only here to tell you that the flood discharge of the Stone Cliff Reservoir will begin in three hours, and your hometown Stone Town will be affected. I suggest you go back now to save people.”

Hearing this, Antonio frowned. He then took out his phone to check the news and the weather.

Meanwhile, Yvonne, who was standing next to him,

deliberately looked pitiful.

“Grace, if you don’t want Antonio to go on the trip with me, just say so.

“He’s the chief designer of the Stone Cliff Reservoir project. Are you saying he’d let the floodwater affect his hometown?”

Antonio put away his phone and looked over at me with

disgust.
