Christian was pacing beck and forth in his room. He couldn't believe Ava was here, alive. It was like his whole world came rushing back to him. Now the only thing to do was get Ava to believe on him and his love once again.

His one hand went in his hairs, clutching them, pulling them and ruffling them. A stupid smile was constantly playing on his lips. Ava was here. His Ava was here. He couldn't thank God enough for his graciousness. It weren't even 5 minutes since he last saw her in the party and now he was literally dying to see her again. But he just wanted to give her sometime to take in the situation like he needed. Just 30 minutes. He hasn't had it in him to give her more than it.

Suddenly that smile was wiped out of his face. His heart started thudding hard in fear. The reaction he got from Ava clearly indicated that after knowing he was here, Ava will leave this place immediately. He didn't want to lose her once again. He wanted her with him. Forever.

So he ran, he ran so fast that even his heartbeat was slower than his 5 steps. He ran through the house that was given to him and only stopped when he reached outside in the main porch.

His guess was right. They were going.

He saw Ava standing in the arms of the same man that he saw earlier. She was wrapped in his arms, hugging him tightly while Kai and other workers loaded their things in the car. The little girl was sitting in car playing games in a mobile. That man was whispering softly in her ear.

Automatically his hands clenched tight in a fist. Who the hell was this man and why was he hugging her like he wanted to consume her in him. He was feeling angry. He wanted to be in that man's place. It was his right. She was his mate.

But he better knew it wasn't right to get jealous right now. He needed to convince Ava and take her back home with him. He knew she loved him and will always love him. He just needed to calm her anger down. And he was ready to do anything for her.

Just before they could get in the car, he ran towards them,

"Ava,", He shouted. He ran towards her to grab her. But before he could reach her, in a flash, he was grabbed by Kai and Ava was pushed behind that man firmly.

"Leave me, Kai." He stated.

"Go away, Christian." Kai pushed him away a little harshly.

Christian was shocked. In his whole life, Kai had never called him by his name. Not even once. And him pushing Christian was the added shock. The man who couldn't even raise his voice in front of Christian was today throwing him away like trash.

"Get in the car with Ava, Alpha Van." He heard Kai saying.

Christian was getting angry by every passing second. Ava was so much hidden and shielded that he couldn't even see her face.

He clenched his eyes shut to control his fury. Van, who was shielding Ava behind him was standing calmly watching the show. It was like Kai would manage whole situation, he trusted it with his life.

Christian opened his eyes to see Van ushering Ava inside the car while holding her waist firmly.
