Connor reiterated, "Drugging someone is downright despicable. If we let this slide, what does that say about justice and order in our world?"

Jacob's expression shifted through a spectrum of emotions. "Connor, we're family, remember? We should sort this out ourselves without dragging the police into it, right?"
