Connor's voice was steady and calm. "And what about ending your own son's life with your own hands?"

"Don't call me 'mother'!" Claire shivered at the word.

He had a gut feeling. Isaac, Kash, and the Sartori family would undoubtedly do everything in their power to rescue them. All he could do now was buy them time and trust in their determination.
