After Samuel brought Nicole back to her bedroom, he looked at her, worried.

Nicole knew what worried him. She smiled, saying, "I'm fine. I did feel uncomfortable at the beginning, but then I thought I have been loved by them for years. How can I prevent them from finding their own child? I also have my birth parents, right? I'm just not happy that they made a move without telling me."

"Well, what happened to Gerry?"

"Gerry?"

Nicole frowned when she saw Samuel was not joking at all.

"Today Lucas and I went to an arcade. We met a young man stirring up trouble there."

Nicole told him what happened at the game hall as well as the conversation between Gerry and Jamar. She highlighted the fact that Gerry called her sister-in-law and Lucas nephew, and mentioned the poppy pattern.

Hearing this, Samuel frowned.

"Impossible. Gerry has been within my sight and no one called Gerry at the time you mentioned."

"What? I have phone records."

Nicole took out her phone, found the phone records and gave to Samuel.

Samuel took it and checked, squinting. He directly called back, but the voice in the phone indicated it had been turned off.

Nicole was surprised.

"It was available in the afternoon."

"I'll go check the game hall."

Samuel said as he was about to go.

"I'll go with you."

Nicole grabbed her coat, preparing to go with Samuel.

Though Samuel did not intend to let Nicole follow him, he was afraid that she would worry at home alone. So, he agreed.

When Nicole and Samuel came out, Melissa was still in the living room, doing something. They directly walked out without greeting her.

Lucas was in the room, but they weren't worried about what Melissa would do to Lucas. Lucas’ IQ was high enough to prevent Melissa from hurting him.

When Nicole and Samuel arrived at the game hall, they found the door closed and locked.

"How so? The game hall should be bustling with people now. Why is there no one? Lucas and I were..."

Nicole was interrupted by Samuel before she could finish.

"Looks like you and Lucas got involved in something.. That Gerry may not be the one we caught. That's why this place could be the stronghold of the people with poppy tattoos. Unfortunately they were alarmed in the afternoon, and they probably have escaped."
