"Mrs. Green, are you okay?"

Cara couldn’t help but ask Nicole when seeing her seem to have immersed herself in thoughts as she looked at her notebook.

"I’m fine. I mean the notebook looks pretty."

Nicole replied to Cara quickly with a faint smile.

Cara sensed nothing from Nicole's expressions. She said with a childish smile, "If you like the notebook, I will ask Doctor Morgan to give you one. She has several of them."

"Really? That’ll be great."

Nicole nodded pleasantly.

"Have a good rest, and I'll go check on Joseph."

"What happened to Mr. Joseph?"

Cara had known every member of the Green family, and it was Laurence who asked Ernesto to introduce them to her. Laurence didn’t do it himself, because he had been avoiding her ever since he failed to tell her about his feelings.

Cara felt a little uncomfortable when thinking of Laurence, but she calmed herself soon.

Smiling at her, Nicole said, "It wasn’t a big deal. He wiped out and Zoe is keeping him company."

"Well, fine. Ms. Green, you must be tired during the period. You should find someone to replace me."

Nicole was familiar with Laurence, Ernesto, Petty and Zac. Cara was the only one who came from the Miller family. Nicole had made an exception to keep Cara by her side.

It was a great honor for her, so she wouldn’t let her down. Then she made up her mind to learn to be a good dietician so that she could take good care of Nicole.

Of course, Nicole didn't know these things.

Walking out of Cara's ward, Nicole intended to visit Morgan, but she saw Petty walking over.

"What's wrong?"

"Mrs. Green, Mr. Green is in trouble."

Mr. Green left you a message, telling you not to worry about him but take good care of the baby in your belly. But it is said that Mr. Green may not be released this time."

Hearing Petty's words, Nicole narrowed her eyes slightly.

How could Samuel tell her not to care about anything but take good care of the baby in her belly at this moment? Even if she could do as he asked, how would Elvis allow her?

She had always felt that the appearance of Elvis was weird. Now she seemed to know something. Did he intend to put Samuel in jail? Or was he scheming anything else?

Nicole couldn’t figure everything out, but she knew she couldn’t just wait around for that to happen.

"Where is Mr. Blair?"

Nicole knew that only Blair could save Samuel now.

Petty replied immediately, "Mr. Blair is waiting for you in the the Green's."

"I’m going back. Let Zac take good care of the children. Send more people here to protect them. I'm afraid Elvis would hurt them."

Nicole was ordering.

"Okay."

Petty went to make the arrangements at once.

Nicole called Laurence.

"Where are you?"

"Outside the police station. I followed Mr. Green there, but they didn’t allow us to go inside. "

Laurence was saying quickly in a poor tone.

Samuel was considered as a big shot in Seapolis City. Normally, the police wouldn’t treat him in a harsh way, but now, they even didn’t let any of his men in. It did startle Nicole.

Her brows were tightly knitted together.

Nicole called Edwin.

"Grandfather, Samuel was arrested. I don’t know the details of the whole story, but could you figure out a way to let me meet him? The policemen here didn’t allow me to see him.”

Edwin was a little surprised at what Nicole said.

"Samuel was arrested? Who did that?"

"People from the criminal police team."

"Why?"

"Samuel imprisoned someone and that guy died."

Edwin was rendered silent for a few seconds, and then he said, "Where is the body?"

"It was also taken away by the police."

"That’ll be a hassle. I'll deal with it first. Don’t do anything else until I ask. Call Jason, who has connections with someone of the criminal police team. See whether he could figure out a way to help Samuel out."

Nicole finally felt a bit relieved after hearing the words of Edwin.

"Okay. I’ll call him now."

When Nicole hung up the phone, Petty had already got everything done.

"Drive the car here."
