Thea almost fainted. In her mind, she cursed Jake up and down

The pregnant woman was on the verge of tears, holding her stomach with a panicked look. “What should I do? If I lose my baby, what’s the point of living?

Thea tried to calm her down. “Don’t worry. We’ve already called the rescue team, and they should be here soon.” 

Without hesitation, Thea took off her life jacket and handed it to the pregnant woman. And she said, “Here, put this on and go. You might have to float in the water for a bit, but if you hang there, the shore isn’t far. You’ll be saved for sure.”

The pregnant woman looked surprised. “But if I take this, what about you?”

Thea shook her head. Tl be fine. You go.” She remembered that Jake and Madelyn’s lifeboat had life jackets on board. They hadn’t gone far yet, so there was still time.

But the yacht wasn’t going to hold up much longer. As Thea glanced out at the open sea, a wave of dizziness washed over her. The truth was, she couldn’t swim.

Without no choice. Thea closed her eyes, took a deep breath and dove into the water.

Meanwhile, things weren’t going well for Jake and Madelyn either. They never expected there to be something wrong with the lifeboat

Fortunately, there were three life jackets on board. After putting them on hurriedly, they jumped into the water, floating as they watched someone in the distance struggling and swunming toward them.

Jake moved to throw one to her instinctively, but Madelyn grabbed his arm.
