Felix found it hilarious how I had completely disregarded him earlier.

The driver glanced at the car ahead and said nothing. 

Felix followed his gaze and saw a long Rolls–Royce Phantom illuminated by their headlights! 

The license plate had all sixes.

With the speed that they were at, if the driver hadn’t braked they would have crash. If that happened, Felix would have not been able to afford the compensation, but also offend someone he couldn’t afford to offend.
