“I will find a suitable time to tell Grandma about this matter. Until then, I hope you can keep it a secret.”

Briana frowned as she looked at him, feeling that something was off.

“How long?”

“It wouldn’t exceed three months.”

After a few seconds of silence, Briana reluctantly agreed.

“Okay, I hope you could walk the talk.”

After speaking, Briana turned around to leave, but was once again stopped by Maxim.

“During this period, I hope you can cooperate with me in acting. When I went to see my grandmother, come with me.”

“Maxim, you shouldn’t push it too far. I have already crossed my bottom line by agreeing to keep this matter a secret!”

Maxim looked down at her and said slowly, “Since the last incident, Grandma’s health has been deteriorating. I don’t want Grandma to worry about us anymore.”

“Briana, where were you now?” 

Briana’s voice sounded distant, “Is there something wrong?”

There was silence on the other end of the phone for a while, and just as Briana’s patience was starting to wear thin, Zane finally spoke up, “Why don’t you come back for a while? I have something to tell you”
