There was silence for a while. Then Oliver’s cold voice sounded. “Adeline likes your clothes. How much? I’ll pay.”

Melody’s face changed in anger, “Oliver, how could you give my clothes to her without asking for permission? I’ll give you one hour to send them back. Or I will sue you!”

She hung up angrily. After thinking for a while, she called Briana.

“Briana, sorry. I left your birthday gift in Oliver’s car and forgot about that after breaking up with him…

“I asked him to send it back. But his girlfriend likes the dress. Then he gave it to her! I am pissed off! I don’t know if I can have it back!”

In the late afternoon, Maxim sent someone to drive Briana to a restaurant.

On the way, Briana planned to have a talk with Maxim during the meal.

Oliver wanted to say no. But Briana, who had been quiet, suddenly said, “OK.”

Maxim frowned at Briana in confusion.

They sat in the box. Then Adeline smiled at Maxim, “Mr. Yoder, you haven’t introduced her to us yet.”

Briana chuckled and said, “You don’t deserve to know my name.”

It was embarrassing. So Oliver and Adeline had their faces changed at

once.

Maxim was surprised. He had never seen her treat others so badly before.
