“I took you to the hospital first.”

“No need, do you have a first aid kit in your car? I’ll treat your wound first.”

“There was.”

The two of them returned to Maxim’s car, but he stubbornly refused to tend to his wounds first. “You deal with your injuries first, and once yours are taken care of, we can deal with mine. I’m tough, I can hold on for a while, it’s no big deal.”

Seeing his persistence, Briana quickly wrapped her arm and looked up at him, saying, “Take off your clothes.”

Briana nodded, looking at Maxim and said, “Thank you for tonight.”

If Maxim hadn’t shown up in time, she might have been dead by now.

After hanging up the phone, Briana looked at Maxim and said, “The car accident on the cross-river bridge was caught on camera, it’s already on the news.”
