Briana looked at him mockingly, “It was just to teach her a lesson.”

Seeing Briana finish speaking and turning to leave, Maxim grabbed her hand and coldly said, “If you do anything to harm Kiley, Uncle Chi and Aunt Chi will definitely not let you off.”

“I haven’t done anything to her yet, and you’re already feeling sorry for her?”

Maxim frowned, “Briana, did you have to misinterpret my meaning?!”

He was clearly afraid that Zane and Mallory would do something to her, in her eyes, he became someone who cared for Kiley!

Briana smiled and said, “Whether it’s a misinterpretation or a fact, you know it deep down.”

She shook off his hand and turned around to leave directly.

Maxim stared coldly at Briana’s back, his heart filled with anger.

On the way back, Briana met Hector

Seeing Briana, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“Briana, Mr. Yoder didn’t do anything to you, right?”

I saw Briana being taken away by Maxim earlier. He didn’t want to intervene because Briana had told him in the morning not to interfere in her personal matters.

However, later on, the worry overwhelmed the concern, and I got up and caught up with them.

Seeing the undisguised concern in his eyes, Briana felt a bit touched, but for the sake of Hector’s career and safety, she looked at him coldly.

“Thank you for your concern, but this is a matter between my spouse and me. It would be better if you don’t inquire about it in the future.”

Hector’s face froze, and it took him a while before he spoke, “Briana, there’s actually something else I came to tell you.”

“What?”

“Maxim’s secretary had approached me before, wanting to buy the villa from me. He must have mistakenly thought that the villa was mine.”

Briana frowned, remembering that she had indeed intentionally changed the name of the villa to someone else’s in order to avoid being discovered by others.

But Maxim was able to find out that the property was under Hector’s name, which made her feel somewhat strange.

What they didn’t know was that when Rayan asked someone to check the villa at that time, the person entered the wrong house number, which is why they found the villa registered under Hector’s name.

“I knew it, thank you for telling me about this.”
