It seemed she was wrong.

Seeing that she wasn’t going to press the issue, Frederick hastily changed the subject. “By the way, you gave birth to the child alone. What are you going to do afterward?”

Grace glanced at the baby. “You don’t have to worry about that. I can raise her alone.”
