Brian stood rooted to the ground, confused. 'Didn't Camren say women like being in the spotlight? Why did Grace look impatient? What went wrong?' he thought.

Brian had a headache. He glanced at the crowd around him who were secretly taking photos of him and threw the bouquet into the trash can.

In the cab, Carson tilted his head and looked at the unhappy Grace. He asked, "Grace, aren't you happy?"

Grace frowned and asked, "Should I be happy?"

Carson cleared his throat. "Brian drove to pick you up and give you flowers. Shouldn't you be... a little moved?"

"No, I feel troubled," Grace said coldly. After a while, she looked at Carson in disbelief. "You don't think this is cool, do you?"

Carson choked. After a while, he said softly, "Even if I want to be cool, I couldn't."
