Ted looked at how he was protecting Grace and understood. He quickly said with a simpering smile, "Mr. Francis, it's a misunderstanding. I don't know Miss Nova is your girlfriend. If I knew, I wouldn't have touched her. Sorry."

Brian would have dislocated Ted's arm but he didn't want to mess up Grace's cooperation. He said coldly, "Get lost."

"Alright. I'll get lost now. I'm sorry, Miss Nova. Please don't take offense. I'll apologize to you another day," Ted said.

After Ted left, Grace broke free from Brian. "Let go. What are you doing here?"

Grace saw the spilled food on the ground and knew Brian had brought food for her. However, she did not think about who made it, nor did she ask. She assumed a servant or Jasmine made it.

Brian's hands were empty and he felt disappointed. He lowered his head and picked up the lunch box before putting it into a bag. "I wanted to bring you food, but the food has been scattered. Let's eat out."

Grace never dared to dream of Brian bringing her food. However, it was meaningless now. She looked at Brian coldly. "Mr. Brian, didn't you hear me just now? I've already asked my assistant to order takeout for me."

Brian stared into Grace's eyes for a long time. In the end, he sighed. "Alright. I'll bring food for you again tomorrow."

The elevator door opened and Brian headed to Grace's office. He knocked on the door and Grace said lightly, "Come in."

Grace was all too familiar with Brian's footsteps. They were steady, powerful, and unhurried. She looked up and saw that it was indeed him.

A gentle smile appeared on Brian's face as he placed the food on her table. "I brought you chicken wings today."

Grace's gaze fell on Brian's fingers. There was a cut on his hand.
