Grace was about to straighten when Brian suddenly pressed down on her. She felt his scorching heat against her back. Brian held her hand with one hand and adjusted her arm with the other. His low and hoarse voice fell on her ear. "Go down a little."

Grace stiffened as if an electric current had passed through her body.

However, Brian said seriously, "Relax. Weren't you always soft in the past?"

Grace's mind was in a mess. She thought, 'What is he talking about in that serious tone? Who is soft?' She suspected Brian was talking about sex, but when she looked at him, his side profile was focused and serious.

Brian suddenly leaned toward Grace. As her head was tilted, he brushed against her lips. It looked like she was kissing him. Grace quickly dodged.

Brian acted as if nothing had happened. He focused on explaining the key points of the movements. "You have to play with a steady hand. Look at the ball you want to hit and find the right position."

The air conditioner was on in the room, but Grace felt a layer of sweat forming on her body.

Brian held Grace's hand and used a little force to hit a ball. The red ball entered the hole. He straightened and took another sip of mineral water as if nothing had happened. He asked Grace, "Do you remember now?"

Grace was in a daze. She suspected Brian was taking advantage of her, but he was acting too normal. It made her doubt herself again and think she was overthinking.

Brian saw that Grace was in a daze and pinched her face in amusement. "What's wrong?"

Grace came back to her senses and nodded. "I'll remember." She turned to look at the white ball. The white ball was too close to the edge of the table, so she couldn't position the cue stick no matter how hard she tried.

Brian walked behind Grace and held her hand to teach her how to hit it. His breath tickled her ear, making her shrink her neck involuntarily.

"Your ears are red," Brian suddenly whispered in her ear.

Grace suddenly threw away the cue stick as if it was scalding. She jumped out of his arms. "Let's stop here today. I'll learn myself tomorrow."

"Yes. It's my fault. You can scold me or hit me. Don't be angry," Brian said.

Grace looked at Brian in disbelief. It was the first time she saw Brian retorting.

"Are you hungry?" Brian asked dotingly, "What do you want to eat tonight?"

"Send me back. Dad and the others are waiting for me to eat," Grace said.

Brian was a little disappointed, but he still obediently sent Grace home.

Grace had insomnia that night. She felt she could not continue to be entangled with Brian.
