After keeping Carson company for a while, Grace and Brian came out of the hospital one after another.

Noticing that Grace was in low spirits, Brian comforted her. "Your brother will get better. Just ignore what your mother said."

Grace tilted her head and glanced at him. "Mr. Brian, thank you for coming to see my brother today and the 600 thousand dollars back then."

Brian had forgotten about the 600 thousand dollars and that he had paid for Carson's first surgery.

He raised his eyebrows and replied, "You can express your gratitude by doing something practical."

Grace said, "You were supposed to finance my brother's treatment as specified in the agreement. So in fact, there's no need for me to thank you."

Brian's brows knitted together.

Grace immediately thought of how he had been cooking for her every day during this period. She glanced at his hands.

There were faint marks on his slender fingers.

Grace said, "Alright, I'll treat you to lunch. Thank you for coming to see my brother today. After the meal, we don't need to see each other again."

Brian's brow furrowed deeply. 'l'll have lunch with you, but I also want to see you."

Grace pursed her lips. Suddenly, a voice called out to her.

"Nova."

Grace turned around and saw Nelson.

Nelson slowly took off his sunglasses. A faint smile was playing on his lips. "I heard your brother was sick. Is he better now?"

Grace also wore a distant and formulaic smile on her face. "Mr. Francis, thank you for your concern. He has woken up."

Brian stared at Nelson intently.

Grace asked, "Mr. Francis, are you here to see me?"

"Yes, how about we go have lunch together?" said Nelson.

Brian said in a low voice, "She can't eat with you."

Grace knew that Nelson would not come to see her for no reason. So as soon as Brian finished speaking, she said, "Mr. Francis, what would you like to eat today? Steak? Pasta?"

Grace closed her eyes. Her heart was in turmoil.

"I think you should visit the seaside when you have time. You can ask the fishermen there," suggested Nelson.

Grace nodded. "Thank you for telling me this. I won't miss any opportunity to find her."

During the meal with Nelson, her mind was elsewhere.

After lunch, she immediately drove to the seaside.

After asking around, locals told her, "Fishermen do fish here, but their departure times are fixed. They go out to the sea on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. Today is the 18th. Come back in two days."

Grace said, "Okay, thanks."

Two days later, Grace arrived at the seaside very early, afraid of missing the fishermen.

The sea breeze tousled her long hair as she stood on the shore and gazed at the sea.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder.
