Grace leaned on the table, propping her temples with her arm, and asked wearily, "It's six o'clock. Can everyone leave work and go home normally?"

"Miss Nova, the garage entrance is crowded with people."

"Call the police and have everyone escorted safely home," Grace said with little energy.

Exhausted, she rested her head on the table.

After the police arrived, they dispersed some of the crowd, but a few lingered nearby, seemingly waiting for Grace to come out.

Brian's call came in on her phone. Grace glanced at it gloomily and hesitated before answering.

"Where are you?" he asked.

Grace replied, "At the office."

"I'll come to pick you up."

After Brian hung up, he appeared at her office in less than ten minutes.

Grace looked up at him, and in that moment, she felt a wave of relief.

"I'll transfer the compensation to your account first," Brian said as he reached out a hand to her.

Grace stared at his hand for a while and her eyes felt dry.

After hesitating, she stood up and took his hand.

"I'll help you investigate the privacy breach," Brian added.

Grace was still with her eyes lowered and she nodded at his words.

He squeezed her hand a bit tighter as if assuring her that with him there, everything would be fine.

Since Brian's car was parked in the garage, the two of them took the elevator directly to the basement.

Just as she stepped out of the elevator, an egg suddenly hit her head.

Grace was caught completely off guard by this.

Upon hearing this, the four of them felt afraid. Being young, none of them wanted to have a criminal record.

"I didn't hit her, can I go?" one of them asked.

"You're causing trouble as well, where do you think you can go?" Brian hung up the phone and looked at them coldly.

The four of them were a little afraid and wanted to escape.

Grace didn't want things to escalate and she tugged at Brian's clothes. "Let them go."

Hearing Grace's words, the four of them looked hopeful.

However, Brian said, "You can leave, but first, throw the remaining eggs in your pockets at yourselves. If I'm satisfied, I'll let you go."

The four of them pursed their lips and exchanged glances.

Brian waited calmly for their decision. After some consideration, the few of them made up their minds, each took out an egg to smash on their heads.
