There was no one at the school gate so Grace called the teacher to send Austin out.

She had just picked up Austin and was about to get into the car when suddenly a bucket of red liquid was splashed at her.

Instinctively, Grace turned around and tightly hugged Austin in her arms.

The thick, heavy liquid clung to her back, accompanied by a pungent smell.

It was red paint.

Austin was startled and when she regained her composure, she looked up at Grace. "Mom..."

She stepped forward, glaring coldly at the person who had splashed the red paint, saying, "Don't bully my mom!"

The person scolded, "You're so fierce even just in kindergarten. What will you be like when you grow up?"

Grace pulled Austin behind her, looking coldly at the group of people.

"You can say what you want about me, but if you try to harm my daughter, I will make you pay tenfold!"

Her gaze was too sharp, and a few of them were inexplicably shocked.

Grace continued, "If you're going to call me vicious, then I'll show you just how fierce I can be."

In a heated exchange, a person retorted, "What? Can't we criticize you for earning money dishonestly? This deceitful woman wants to silence me by any means necessary!"

Another person added, "Not only is she deceitful, but she's also a homewrecker. Even her daughter's legitimacy is questioned."

More people gathered, surrounding Grace and Austin, gossiping and pointing fingers.

At that moment, a cold voice cut through the crowd. "Clear the way!"

Everyone turned around, automatically parting to make a path.

Brian walked over with a gloomy face. His eyes were as cold as ice as his gaze swept over the crowd, sending chills down their spines.
