Brian looked sideways at her and loosened his tie in irritation. "No need."

With that, he strode forward.

Sharon's lips curled into a smile. She turned around, entered the car, and slowly drove after Brian.

Not long after, she saw Brian walk into a bar.

Sharon smiled and appreciated such a coincidence. She had planned to meet her friend in that bar.

'It's my luck!' Sharon thought excitedly.

Sharon quickly exited it and followed him before she even parked the car well.

The bar was brightly lit and noisy, and the music was deafening.

After searching for a while, Sharon was stopped by her friend. "Sharon! Here! What are you looking for? We're over there!"

"I'm looking for my man," Sharon smiled smugly.

"Your man? Who?" Her friend was bewildered.

Sharon spotted Brian sitting in the booth, and her smile deepened. She pointed at the booth where Brian was. "There! Isn't he handsome?"

Sharon's friend girl looked in the direction Sharon was pointing at and gaped in shock. "Oh my god! He's hot! Sharon, when did you secretly date him? Why didn't we know?"

Sharon bit her lip and blinked at her friends. "I can't stay with you guys today. My man is not in the mood and needs me."

"Hey! Sharon! You're gonna abandon us?" Her friends shouted behind her.

Brian had only been sitting there for a few minutes, but he had already drunk half of a bottle of whiskey.

He was drinking when he saw a figure sit across from him, pick up his bottle, and pour herself a glass.

Brian frowned and looked up grimly.

"Who are you?" Brian asked.

Sharon did not give up and followed.

Brian looked at her sulkily and felt even more frustrated.

"If you want to sit here, be my guest. But don't fucking open your mouth. I'm sick of hearing you!" Brian huffed.

"Yeah, fine. I won't speak. I'll only drink with you, alright?" Sharon promised.

Brian raised his head and gave her a warning look. Sharon immediately shut her mouth. She went to the bartender and ordered a few more bottles of spirits.

When she saw Brian guzzling, Sharon's eyes revealed a scheming glint.

She returned and sat down. Silently, she kept filling Brian's glass and occasionally drank a glass herself.

The bottles on the table were quickly emptied.

Brian felt his brain begin to buzz. He looked around him and began to see double.
