Fated For Lycan's Luna novel Chapter 149

Read Fated For Lycan's Luna Chapter 149 - the best manga of 2020

Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Fated For Lycan's Luna. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 149. Let's read the author's Fated For Lycan's Luna Internet story right here.

Chloe's POV

“What in the…” Allan and Vanessa all exclaimed in surprise. Fortunately they all did it through mindlink and were never able to express this outwardly.

I acted as fearful as possible while I contemplated what should be the best reaction for this matter. Deep inside I was in disbelief that Alpha Kain would first suspect me out of all the guests present in the hall.

‘Could it be the matter earlier?’ I racked my brains to think why would Alpha Kain put his suspicion on me until I remembered the little mishap I made earlier.

Before I could open my mouth to speak, Alpha Kain had already ordered his strongest warriors to surround me and my companions, much to my dismay.

His eyes looked at me as if he was saying that since it was his territory, he is the one to decide on things and that he is really sure that I was the one who did it.

“What shall we do, Chloe?!” Vanessa asked, clearly panicking inside.

“We..” Before I could order my people, Alpha Kain’s voice already sounded, “Start the search!”

As soon as his words came out, the warriors pinned us down ruthlessly and the elders started searching through our bodies.

“Not good!” My heart started to get nervous as I still had something in me that could potentially seal our fate at this moment.

The clutch that I was wearing had a small vial of poison, which I developed whilst studying under Teacher Astor.

It was a small vial, clearly unnoticeable, and highly lethal. I always carry it with me as a last measure should there be a need to kill an enemy.

However, now is clearly not the time to use it as I knew that I would not only be against Alpha Kain, but against all the Alphas around me.

I snuck it in between the lining of my leather clutch so that it could not be easily discovered. But anything could happen at this moment and I dared not to be complacent.

It would take a highly meticulous person to notice the tiny bulge within the cushion of the clutch and so nothing is really certain at this moment.

Cold beads of sweat rolled all over my body as my heart started pounding harder. Vanessa and the rest were all being searched one by one as everyone watched with fear.

The more the time for me to be searched approached, the more I started to panic as I could see that Alpha Kain’s men ensured that nothing was to be missed in the search.

I tried to put a brave front as much as possible while hoping that there would be another distraction that would come and give me a chance to eliminate the evidence.

I only need a blink of an eye, and I could use my aura to flick the poison vial away from me! After that, my problems will be easily solved!

However, the miracle I wished to happen never did and I’m stuck to being discovered. As they searched through my body, my brain was already wracking how to explain what they would see in it.

Finally, my turn has arrived when I have yet to find an opportunity to slide the vial out of my clutch.

Alpha Kain stepped forward, his gaze devoid of any mercy in it. His shadow casted over me like a towering mountain I could not climb.

The searchers started to move and I could only watch with a conflicted mind.

I was debating myself whether I should use force to get out of the situation, but the eyes that were affixed toward me had kept me sober from the reality. I cannot fight in here directly!

The elders came and searched my body, they took away my clutch bag and turned it upside down.
