After breakfast, Nicole took her son, drove the car, and dropped by to pick up Todd to visit the Gardner Residence.

It was the weekend, so there were fewer vehicles on the road. It was still morning when they arrived at the Gardner Residence.

Anna and Wendy were sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Anna's expression darkened and she nodded with confusion. "Yes. It's the one in green. I must say, though, it's not as pretty as this one."

Todd's expression gradually turned stiff when he heard that. He frowned and said in a low voice, "But that's impossible!"

This was the first time Nicole had seen Todd being so serious, and she thought something big had happened. "Mr. Freeman, what's wrong?"

Todd said solemnly, "We only lent one from the current season's jewelry to Miss Anderson. The rest of the jewelry is in the safe, so there's no way another piece of jewelry would surface!"
