Skylar felt awful when she saw Kevin’s room had been decorated with posters of his choices.

That used to be her room, but no one could tell she used to stay there. She found herself pathetic because she couldn’t even hold on to her grandmother’s keepsake.

“Why should I compensate for your loss?” Skylar asked with a frown.
