Skylar whispered, “Who counts how much they've drunk? That won't be generous. I can't remember how many glasses of wine I drank.”

Tobias' frown disappeared as he gazed at her affectionately. “You aren't in a business discussion, so why must you be generous?”

To remove the smell of alcohol clinging to her, she washed her body twice when she was bathing. When she came out, she smelled like fragrant pomegranate. Her fair cheeks had turned rosy from the steam in the bathroom.

Leaning against the headboard, Tobias stared at her intently. Although it was dim, she could notice how bloodshot his eyes were.

“Didn't you rest well? You look like you've stayed up for a few nights.”

Tobias closed his eyes. “Yeah, I haven't slept for a few nights.”

Skylar flipped the blankets and climbed onto the bed. Remembering how men destress, she placed her hand on Tobias' waist.

However, Tobias grabbed her hand, preventing it from roaming around.

When Tobias noticed her disappointment, he hugged her soft body and pulled her closer to him. “I'm so tired that I only want to sleep. I'll fall asleep while hugging you, okay?”

Tobias kissed her rosy lips. Then, he opened her collar and moved his kisses down.

Skylar ran her fingers through his dark hair. However, Tobias did not do anything more. After he was satisfied, he hugged her.
