Skylar still felt conflicted when she saw Charles again. This time, at least the man looked slightly more presentable, even though the suit he was wearing did not fit him well.

She then turned around to look at Tobias, who looked stunningly suave in his suit.

Skylar let out a sigh. Why did God bless him with such great looks? It's so unfair to the other men.

Charles had to behave himself as he knew Tobias was watching him closely. He knew he had to lay low and not cross Tobias.

“What do you think of the marriage?” Tobias asked in a deep voice.

To this day, Charles still could not believe he would be marrying a gorgeous woman from a wealthy family.

After Charles had left, Skylar ordered the waiter to remove his cup right away. She was disgusted by how filthy the man was.

She took a sip of her tea and asked Tobias casually, “Are you really going to kill him if he chooses not to marry Avery?”

Tobias grinned and answered, “It was a joke. Can't you tell I'm a kind man? Do you really think I'm capable of killing him?”

It was hard to tell if Tobias was telling the truth.
