Skylar would rather not discuss Tobias' past affairs, so their late-night conversation ended at that point.

The next morning, Mavis flipped the hotel room upside down trying to find her diamond ring.

Since Skylar shared the room with her, she immediately turned to the former when she could not find it. “Have you seen my ring?”

Skylar shook her head in response, for even though she had seen the ridiculously large diamond ring on Mavis' ring finger the day before, she had not seen it since. “Did you leave it somewhere?”

Mavis was so anxious that she did not care that the cameras were rolling and pointed at them. “Are you sure you didn't take it without my permission for photos or whatever and forgot to return it to me?”

“Why the heck would I do that? Do you think I can't afford to buy one myself if I wanted one?” retorted Skylar, annoyed that Mavis spoke to her as if she was a thief.

Since Skylar came from a needy family, Mavis presumed that the woman was no stranger to thievery.

Still, it was the first time in a reality show that an artist suspected another of stealing her property.

Just then, Mackayla decided to say something to defend Skylar. “Do you have any idea how much Skylar earns from endorsement fees alone? Why would she steal your ring?”

In response, Mavis shot daggers at Mackayla before scoffing, “So, you're ganging up on me now, huh? Is that what this is?”

Sensing the tension in the room, Saorise intervened. “Talking isn't going to make the ring appear, so why don't we continue looking instead? The cameras were kept on the whole time, right?”

The cameras even gave her a close-up of her facial expressions.

When Saorise asked Skylar what had happened, the latter replied, “I'm just as baffled as you are. The ring probably grew a pair of legs and sneaked into my suitcase.” Great. Because of this, my schedule's going to be all over the place. My goodness! Who would've thought I'd be accused of thievery on a reality show!

Skylar insisted that she wanted to get the police involved and promised that she would willingly go to jail if found guilty.

Hearing that, the director quickly pulled her aside. “Mdm. Skylar, if we call the police, it's going to affect our shooting schedule.”

Kai only heard about the incident after he woke up. He did not know what Mavis was up to, but he was sure that Skylar would never steal. Unless Skylar wants to watch her career crash and burn, anybody in their right mind would know that she has no reason to do such a thing.
