She simply replied, “I shall take my leave first. Let's chat again sometime. I'm not comfortable answering questions about Mr. Ford. Neither should you ask too much about him.”

Sensing Valerie's displeasure, Saorise nodded and watched her leave.

Just then, Milania appeared behind Saorise and patted her on the shoulder. Startled, Saorise placed her hands on her chest and exclaimed with flushed cheeks, “You scared me. Why didn't you make any sound?”

It was easy to understand a girl's mind. Milania could tell that Saorise did not like any of the many suitors from the entertainment industry.

Feeling uneasy, Saorise asked Milania, as if she was lost, “Tobias gave Valerie a woman's phone and asked her to pass it to the woman, who must be from Royal Entertainment. Now that I think of it, something seems to be going on between Skylar and Tobias. Do you think the two of them are really together? If they are, I'll be in an awkward situation in this company.
