Chapter 1030
Charlie looked at the villa model, completely taken aback, and asked, “Is this a gift from your mom?”
“Yeah, she wanted to thank you!” Kya replied with a grin.
Charlie took the model and chuckled. “Does your mom think I’m just a kid or something?”
Kya laughed back and said, “We’re all good kids!”
Charlie’s smile broadened. He found the model intriguing, especially when he flicked the tiny swing on it, setting it in motion. It made him laugh.
Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind.
He took out his phone and dialed Jonathan. “You’ve got a piece of land across the mountain from your Villa del Sol, don’t you? I’ll take it!”
Jonathan responded coolly, “That land isn’t suitable for commercial use. What do you want it for?”
I’m thinking…” Charlie held the villa model, his eyes twinkling, “I’m thinking of building a villa.”
Jonathan laughed, “Are you building a fancy villa for some girl you like? Not satisfied with the ones already out there, now you want to build your own?”
“Can’t I live in it myself?” Charlie replied with a chuckle.
Jonathan thought for a moment, then agreed without any more teasing. “Alright, I’ll have the paperwork and details sent over in a couple of days.”
“Cool, thanks!”
“No problem!”
Having hung up, Charlie immediately called his assistant. “Find a construction team, I want to build a courtyard. I’ll send you the design”
Estelle chuckled, “Then you can’t call me irresponsible anymore!”
“That’s a different thing!” Jason retorted with a laugh.
“By the way,” he added, “Harriet wants to throw a celebration party for you when you’re free.”
“Let’s wait until Sophia gets back,” Estelle suggested. “I’m afraid it’s not so much a celebration as a trap!”
They both wanted her to be more responsible, and she wouldn’t be foolish enough to walk into a situation where they could verbally and textually attack her.
Jason chuckled, “You’re a lot smarter now!”
With a hint of pride, Estelle responded, “I’ve been in the real world for a while now. I can’t still be the impulsive kid I used to be!”
