Chapter 1187

*Charlie has no clue that Kya is his kid!”

“He’ll find out eventually!”

Estelle pressed her lips together. “Once he does, things are only going to get more complicated!”

“Stop worrying about other people all the time; you should focus on your own business!” Manley said with a meaningful grin.

“My biz?” Estelle barely got the words out before she suddenly felt guilty.

Manley glanced back at her, his lips curling into a smile. He didn’t say another word.

At the party, Manley pulled an invitation out of nowhere. After handing it to the greeter, he led Estelle straight in.

It was already night; the hall was brilliantly lit, perfumes and fancy dresses intermixed, and people were chit-chatting and drinking, creating an atmosphere of luxury.

The host of the party knew Manley and, upon seeing him, made a beeline to greet him enthusiastically.

Manley held Estelle’s hand the entire time, walking her around the party. Before long, everyone knew that Manley had snagged himself another beautiful girlfriend.

Of course, his girlfriends were always gorgeous!

Estelle lounged by a floor-to-ceiling window, giving him a look. “So, this is your aim?”

Manley handed her a drink.”What aim?”

“Quit playing dumb!” Estelle had already had plenty to drink after following Manley around. She took his cocktail and knocked it back in one swig, a rare hint of nonchalance in her eyes. “Whatever you’re up to tonight, I’m game!”

“Why are you suddenly so nice to me?” Manley moved over, his gaze fixed on her.

A hint of ambiguity flashed in Estelle’s eyes. She lowered her head, avoiding his gaze.

The lights in the hall suddenly dimmed, and the elegant classical music gave way to a romantic nocturne. Many people took to the dance floor, starting a grand waltz.

Manley chuckled, “Let’s dance!”

Estelle nodded and set her glass aside, saying, “Okay, but you’ll have to show me the ropes. I’m not much of a dancer.”

“My pleasure!”

Manley took her by the wrist and led her to the dance floor.

Among the crowd, Manley stared at her, placing her hand on his shoulder, and then taking her by the waist, they started to dance.

Estelle had only danced once before, with Jonathan. It was a long time ago, almost forgotten.

But she was a quick learner, and within minutes, she was keeping up with Manley’s rhythm.

With a gleam in his eyes, Manley, whispered, “You can slow down and pretend you’re accidentally falling into my arms; that would be cuter!”

Estelle noticed a girl in a red backless dress, just as Manley described, falling into a man’s arms, then being held and kissed by him while they

danced.
