“No way!” Sabina sneered, “Estelle and Jonathan? In what universe?” 

“You’ve got a point!” Natalia agreed, “Sure, Estelle is pretty, but there are plenty of gorgeous women out there. It’s not like Jonathan hasn’t seen any.” 

She laughed scornfully, “Based on how your grandparents were fawning over Estelle, you’d think the was already the queen of the Lamont family. What a joker “Don’t worry, whoever ends up as Jonathan’s wife, it won’t be Estelle Sabina said dismissively and went into the living room. 

After calling Estelle, Bennett was summoned by Terrence to his study. 

Terrence looked furious, 1 need you to bring Estelle home night away!” 

Bennett frowned, “I would love to, but Estelle doesn’t want to come back” 

“Isn’t it because you and Simone have been treating her poorly? Look at how things are going. Jonathan obviously values Estelle. Even if he doesn’t want to marry her, she still holds weight in his eyes.” Terrence’s eyes sparkled with excitement, “And look at Carmella. I thought she was capable, but she’s been slipping. I know you’ve raised her for over twenty years and you care for her, so I won’t force you to cut ties. Just marry her off soon, that would be a contribution to the Macclain family.” 

“Well” Bennett hesitated, 1 will discuss it with Simone” 

“Simone’s thinking is too simplistic, all from a woman’s perspective. You can’t always side with her. You need to bring Estelle back as soon as possible and build a relationship

Berinett frowned, “It’s not really Estelle’s fault what happened today. We can’t just listen to Carmella anymore!” 

“Carmella is as useless as they come!” Simone raged, I thought we could rely on her to uphold our dignity, but she’s a huge letdown!” 

“Seems like she’s no match for Estelle now!” Bennett’s voice came through the door 

Simone said, “But we’ve already offended Estelle, do you think she’ll forgive us?” 

Bennett complained, “That’s because of the things you said earlier. You left no room for compromise.” 

“How was I to know Carmella would be so useless” Simone said angrily.
