Chapter 1459
Estelle, her eyes sparkling with mischief, held on to him tighter and said, “I won’t get down!”
“If you don’t get down, you’re officially mine!” Jonathan chuckled.
Estelle leaned on his shoulder, her eyes soft and a delicate smile on her face, “I don’t care what you say, I’m not getting down!”
Jonathan, holding her, headed straight for the mansion, saying, “Then I’ll indulge you!”
Sensing his intentions, Estelle gasped and began to struggle, “Jonathan, I take it back, I want to get down!”
But Jonathan held her slender waist tighter, smiling, “Too late for that now!”
Thankfully, Wilma was picking vegetables in the backyard and wasn’t in the mansion, saving Estelle from an awkward encounter on their way upstairs.
Once they entered the bedroom and Jonathan closed the door, they both fell onto the bed.
As the curtains automatically started to close, the room gradually darkened. Jonathan half–lald on Estelle, gently stroking her face and tenderly kissing her. Estelle, with her eyes half–closed, responded like a comfortable kitty.
“After we get married, we’ll move in here. How does that sound?” Jonathan continued to shower her with kisses, his voice husky as he continued to say, “We’ll go jogging every morning, have breakfast together, then I’ll drive you to work. When we get back home at night, we’ll do whatever we fancy. If you want to watch horror movies, I’ll watch them with you. We’ll have three kids. From the balcony, we can watch them playing on the lawn with Max and Milo.”
Estelle, captivated by the image he painted, nodded with her eyes closed, “Deal.”
After a shower, Estelle fell asleep on the bed. Jonathan held her contentedly for a while, waiting for her to fall into a deep sleep before getting up.
He pressed a button beside the bed, and the curtains silently started to open, letting the afternoon sunlight stream in and illuminate Estelle’s beautiful face.
Jonathan softly replied, “Ella’s asleep. Let her have them when she wakes up. Don’t disturb her now.”
Jonathan headed to the study next door, lit a cigarette, pulled out his phone, and dialed Andrew’s number.
The call was quickly answered, and Andrew immediately laughed, “Jonah, what’s up?
“Got a minute?” Jonathan flicked some ash from his cigarette as he continued to ask, “You have a cultural company near the Movie Center, right?” “Yeah, I co–founded it with a friend. We mainly do advertising and brand promotion,” Andrew replied.
“I think I’ve heard of it,” Andrew replied and eagerly asked, “What’s up, Jonah? You need something?”
“Help me find the boss of The Sunlight Group. I have some questions, Jonathan said.
“Sure, I’ll get you the info today.”
“No rush.”
After ending the call, Jonathan didn’t disturb the sleeping Estelle, but became busy with some emails in his study.
An hour later, Jonathan returned to their room and found Estelle still fast asleep.
