Chapter 1472 

It was already eleven at night, and Zachary had just taken a taxi to the hotel. He found the room by its number. He heard sounds from inside, and his face turned from surprise to shock as his whole body trembled. 

Suddenly, he remembered that night years ago. He came home from work and saw something he couldn’t handle. His life was never the same after that. 

The tragedy that happened to him was happening again! He looked at the door in front of him, suddenly feeling a bit scared and wanting to run. But he still gritted his teeth, kicked open the door, and saw Luisa’s ugly face. She stared at him in panic, trying to grab onto her clothes and almost rolling off 

the bed. 

Zachary’s mind was a mess as his eyes went bloodshot. He picked up a chair in the hotel room, ready to slam it on the man in bed. The man, terrified, hid 

behind Luisa 

Suddenly, two men rushed out from the door, grabbing Zachary tightly and trying to calm him down. Zachary couldn’t calm down, Luisa’s disgusting face reminded him of his ex-girlfriend. He struggled wildly, trying to hurt her. Even if it meant going back to jail or losing his life, he didn’t care! 

He betrayed Xavier, and this was how it ended up. He didn’t want to live anymore! He didn’t understand why fate played such a cruel joke on him, letting this happen to him again! 

His expression was crazy, and his mind went blank. He vaguely heard Luisa cursing him, “Zachary, calm down and get out of here now! You’re just a poor, dirty, disgusting cook. Did you think I actually liked you? I’m breaking up with you now, so you have no right to control me!” 

Zachary was held down on the ground as he watched Luisa run away. He let out a beast-like growl, filled with despair and pain, 

Zachary didn’t know who was holding him down, so he fought with them, but it seemed they weren’t Luisa’s people. When he went back to Luisa’s rented room, she had already packed up everything and left. 

He didn’t sleep all night. He went to her company for two days straight, but the people there told him that Luisa had quit. She wasn’t coming back. 

Zachary was devastated for two days and drunk for two days straight. He couldn’t find Luisa and finally decided to leave J City. Before leaving, he couldn’t resist visiting the barbecue restaurant one last time. 

-The glass door of the barbecue restaurant had a Temporarily Closed sign on it. While looking at the familiar tables and chairs in the shop, this tall man 

suddenly felt like crying a river. 

He knew he had no face to see Xavier, so he didn’t go in. He held back his tears and turned around to leave. 

“Where are you going?” A familiar voice suddenly came from behind. Zachary’s shoulders trembled, but he didn’t turn around. 

Damian walked over, grabbed the bag in his hand, and said with a smile. The chef isn’t here, so we’ve been closed for several days. Everyone’s waiting for you to come back and reopen. Where are you thinking of going?” 

Zachary suddenly covered his eyes. The nearly three-meter-tall man began crying loudly on the street. 

“She was just a woman, is it necessary for you to be like this?” Damian wasn’t feeling well either; he gently patted his shoulder, “Stop crying, go home.” 

Damian dragged him towards the shop, but Zachary didn’t agree. He wiped the tears off his face with force, I’m not going back. I just want to take one, look and leave”
