“Alright, I’ll talk to Sallie!” the director promised. 

While the director was successfully persuading Carmella, the producer was also getting through to Sallie. 

Once Sallie was convinced to stay, everyone returned to the studio to continue taping. 

The crew simply switched off her microphone to prevent Sallie from omitting anything inappropriate. 

The episode was finally completed with great difficulty. 

In the edited version of the show/everyone seemed friendly, just like one big family. 

As for Carmella’s initial claim that she didn’t mimic KING, the director decided to keep that part in the show to stir up some controversy and attract more 

attention. 

Controversial shows always grabbed people’s attention, right? 

And since Carmella said it herself without any encouragement from the crew, they could defend themselves if there were any backlash in the future. After the show wrapped up, Heather and Carmella walked out together. Heather laughed as she said, “Sallie, that dolt, throwing a tantrum cause she can’t keep up, even dragged poor Amber into the mess!” 

Carmella just shrugged, “Whatever. I’m not going to bother with her. More than a few people are criticizing me online anyway. As long as I know I’m in the right, I’m good!” 

Heather nodded and said, “Exactly. Don’t bother with those hot–headed netizens. The louder they yell, the more attention you’re getting!” 

After saying that, Heather hesitated for a moment, then put on a friendlier smile. “Carmella, I heard Fashion Frenzy invited you to be a guest. I think we can continue our collaboration. Could you recommend me?” 

Carmella seemed to be in a tight spot, “Well… I haven’t decided whether to accept the invitation or not. Appearing in two similar shows might tire the fans. I’ll let you know when I’ve made up my mind.” 

With that, Carmella got into the car that came to pick her up and left right away. 

Watching Carmella’s car drive away, Heather’s face immediately darkened. 

She knew very well that Carmella had already accepted the invitation from Fashion Frenzy. Carmella lying about not having made a decision clearly meant she didn’t want to bring Heather along.

That evening, Bennett watched the related videos and asked Simone, “Isn’t Carmella being a bit too flashy? She just debuted. It might be better to keep a low profile!” 

Simone, who was trying on a new necklace Carmella bought for her and taking selfies with her phone, scoffed at the remark. “Carmella’s talent speaks for itself. Why should she downplay it? The intense debate online is just people being jealous. Look at KING. She hasn’t dared to show her face publicly, probably because she’s all washed up and doesn’t dare to compete with Carmella, or maybe she’s just too ugly and is afraid of losing face!”
