Harriet laughed coolly, “When two people’s stories don’t line up, you know someone’s feeding you a bunch of bull!” 

A reporter chimed in, “Ms. Harriet, if you knew your studio’s designs were being ripped off, why didn’t you say something earlier?” 

Harriet responded nonchalantly, “I hardly watch reality show. It wasn’t until someone recommended Carmella’s portfolio to me a couple of days ago that I realized our designs had leaked. By that time, GK’s fall and winter collection had already been announced.” 

The Macclain family’s faces turned gloomy, and all eyes were on Carmella. 

The reporter quickly turned his attention to the guest seats, his eyes sharp. “Ms. Carmella is here today. Ms. Carmella, what do you want to say about Ms. Harriet’s remarks?” 

All spotlights instantly focused on Carmella. She felt like she was freezing, her face pale. She got up with a tremble, stiffly looking at Estelle and tightly pursing her lips. All she managed to say was, “I didn’t steal anything.” 

The crowd gasped, their eyes darting back and forth between Ms. Harriet and Estelle. 

Estelle’s expression was icy. She stared at Carmella, “I’ll give you another chance, Carmella. Tell everyone, did you sneak a peek at my designs?” 

Carmella tried to recall that day in Estelle’s office when she printed the designs. Having the experience before, she had made sure there were no cameras in the office before she proceeded. 

There were no cameras, and it had been two months. Estelle couldn’t possibly have any evidence! 

Carmella clenched her fists, straightened her back, and lifted her chin defiantly at Estelle, “I didn’t take a glance at your designs! I swear all the designs I’ve shown on Beauty’s Wardrobe are my own. You’re the one who copied my work!” 

Carmella’s bold declaration left the crowd confused, and their gazes turned back to Estelle, waiting for her response. 

Simone tried to stay composed, telling Bennett who was stern-faced, “We have to trust Carmella. It must’ve been Estelle who copied her work!” 

Terrence and Bennett remained silent. The revelation that Estelle was KING was shocking and unsettling enough! 

Estelle’s face remained expressionless as she listened to Carmella, her eyes filled with indifference and mockery. She turned to a staff member, “Could you fetch my laptop?” 

The staff member quickly brought over Estelle’s laptop from backstage. 

Estelle turned on the laptop, projecting the screen onto a large screen behind her. “I have two pieces of evidence. The first proves these designs are my own, and the second proves Carmella indeed copied them. Everyone, please look at the big screen.” 

Estelle brought up her usual design software on her laptop, showing the original files of her designs.
