Estelle gazed into the red wine in her glass, swirling it gently. “Magdalen, do you know why I’ve always been reluctant to go public with my relationship 

with Jonathan?” 

Magdalen nodded, “I know, you have many concerns.” 

Estelle spoke softly, “On one hand, I feel it’s good to be with Jonathan just like this, staying low-key. After all, what we love is each other, irrelevant to all other external factors. Once those things seep in, they’ll only disrupt our peaceful, enjoyable companionship. There was immediate cheer. 

Estelle couldn’t help but laugh. “Coming here for a barbecue, you’ve indeed set a precedent for the 9th Mansion!” 

Magdalen stripped the sticks. “As long as it’s enjoyable. It’s pretty much the saine going other places to eat. Good service is the principle!” 

She went to get some wine, complaining, “We should be drinking beer!” 

She beckoned a waiter over, asking them to fetch some draft beer, 

Only Magdalen would treat the 9th Mansion like a barbecue stand in all of J.City! 

Magdalen reached into her pocket for her phone, but found something else. Het brows furrowed as she took it out and tossed it on the table. Estelle lifted her gaze at the thing. It was a necklace inlaid with green diamonds. She raised her eyebrow slightly. “What’s this?”
