Sophie's eyes sparkled with amazement as she clung to Estelle's hand. "When I get married, I want you to design my wedding dress too."
Estelle offered a warm smile. "Have you forgotten what your own job is?"
"I don't care. I want to walk down the aisle in a dress you've designed!" Sophie giggled.
Estelle chuckled softly. "So, are you and Robin talking about tying the knot already?"
Sophie sighed. "Not even close. Robin's really focused on his career right now; he doesn't want any distractions. But I'm in no rush. As long as he's happy, I'm happy."
After a bit more casual chat, a commotion erupted from downstairs. Morrison had arrived to fetch the bride.
Sophie quickly pulled Estelle into the bedroom, and the other bridesmaids buzzed with excitement and nerves. They shut the door, ready to blockade the groom.
Morrison, in his sleek black suit, exuded a gentlemanly stability, the faint smile softening his otherwise indifferent demeanor, adding a scholarly charm.
He had brought three groomsmen, and they were all stopped outside Magdalen's bedroom door.
Sophie, leading the other bridesmaids, started firing off questions:
"When was your first kiss?"
"What's your favorite feature of Magdalen's?"
"Groomsmen do push-ups, and the groom sings a song to cheer them on!"
Estelle sat beside Magdalen, watching Sophie and the others erupt into giggles and chaos, curious about Morrison's expression on the other side of the door.
Morrison handled the questions well, but singing proved to be a challenge.
