Sophie was adamant, "I really don't want to go!"

Robin looked at her intently, "Because of me?"

Sophie remained silent.

Robin asked, "Did you get the flowers I sent you today?"

Sophie frowned, "I gave them away. Please don't send any more!"

A hint of disappointment flashed through Robin's eyes as he looked down, "You know, I've come to realize I've never actually sent you flowers before. So, I can understand why you left me."

Sophie spoke softly, "I never held that against you."

"I know." Robin's gaze deepened as he looked at her, "I know you're a good person. It's me who failed to do what a boyfriend should."

A willow seed flew by, landing on a lock of Sophie's hair near her ear. Robin instinctively reached out to remove it.

Sophie was momentarily taken aback before stepping back.

Robin awkwardly lowered his hand, "Diana quit her job!"

Sophie said, "Whether she quits or not, it doesn't concern me anymore."

Hugo, noticing the heavy tone between the two, quickly pulled Sophie aside and whispered, "Sophie, we all knew about your crush on Robin back in our dorm days. Then we heard you even followed him to M Country. That takes courage, and I respect that! I believe you truly love Robin; otherwise, you wouldn't have waited for him for so many years. Now that there's a conflict between you two, are you going to throw away all those years of feelings? Please don't act out of spite!"

Sophie's expression was serious, "I'm not acting out of spite!"

"I think you are!" Hugo said, "Sophie, we're classmates, so I feel I can speak openly. Robin is genuinely a good guy. These past few days, I've seen how he keeps your photo in a frame on his desk, in his wallet, and even as his phone's wallpaper! Robin has been focusing on his career, so he might have neglected you a bit, but he truly loves you!"

Sophie glanced at Robin, surprised. She had placed the photo frame on his desk, but she hadn't seen the rest. Had he added those after they broke up?

They had already broken up!

"Sophie!" Inman sounded anxious.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"Have you seen the news?"

"No, what happened?"

Sophie spoke while fishing out her phone.

"Our studio's been slammed. You better take a look!" Inman said gravely.

Sophie opened her phone and saw that Snowy Studios was trending on Twitter with the headline "Exposure: Snowy Studios Designer Accused of Accepting Bribes from Clients."

She immediately clicked on the post, frozen in shock at what she saw.
