Leonie added, “Mom, you forgot. Estelle only had a grandpa in her home in C City. She has no parents, so of course no one taught her any

manners!”

Leonie snorted, “Oh wow, you’re letting it slide? What exactly can you do if you don’t?”

“Estelle!” Bennett scolded softly, shielding Estelle behind him, and said to Leonie solemnly, “No matter what kind of family Estelle grew up in before, she’s my daughter now. If you say she does not have manners, you are insulting me”

Addy responded repeatedly and hurried outside.
