Estelle blinked, “We’ve been through some stuff together, and Xavier is friends with my brother as well. He taught me how to shoot.”

Jonathan wanted to ask more, but Estelle suddenly kissed him on the lips and said, “It’s late, let’s go to sleep.”

Jonathan’s heart raced as he scooped her up, kissing her while walking towards the bed.

He didn’t ask again, her past wasn’t important, what mattered was their future together.

Estelle was pressed into the sheets, holding the man’s neck, her eyes half–closed, and focused on responding to him.

Jonathan kissed her eyes with his hoarse voice, “Ella, we’re going to be apart for two nights.”

“hmm,” Estelle’s eyes glistened

Jonathan kissed her collarbone. “You are going to miss me!”

The next morning. Jonathan drove Estelle to the airport to take his private jet to C City.

They will be separated for a day, but watching Estelle board the plane, Jonathan suddenly felt a sense of loss, wishing he could go and be with her.
